Questions
Is this legal?
A license or a sale of de-identified operational data is a contract between you and the buyer, reviewed by privacy counsel before anything moves. We coordinate that review; we do not give legal advice.
Who sees our data?
Nobody sees raw data to price it. The valuation comes from counts. Buyers receive de-identified data after counsel review, under contract.
Licensing or selling?
Your choice. Most deals are licenses, where you keep ownership and the buyer gets a right to use the data under a contract. If a sale fits better, we run that instead. Counsel reviews either.
How long does it take?
Inventory in days, quotes in weeks. The rest depends on counsel and the buyer.
What does DMS charge?
Nothing unless a deal closes. Our share of the deal is agreed in writing before any quote goes out.
